Making the best use of the limited space, the Department is fully equipped with professional and educational softwares and hardwares for teaching as well as learning.

JLRC collects various audio-visual materials and is equipped with internet accessible computers for students to search for worldwide information. In their spare time, students will gather here to discuss their work, or avail themselves of computers to conduct research. Moreover, through the project of Bridge with Books, Kanagawa University had donated books to the Department between 2009 and 2011.

JLRC also has a tea ceremony experiencing corner, where Students Association or the faculty can invite teachers to demonstrate tea ceremony, so that students can immerge themselves with Japanese tea culture. Furthermore, there are Hina Dolls for Girls Festival, Koinobori (carp streamer) which are decorated for Childrens day, and Daruma doll.
